Printmade Apparel Terms & Conditions of Service

PAYMENT:

All orders require 100% down for production to begin. For established/return clientele, we may offer 50% down / 50% upon completion, or 100% upon completion. Your order may be delayed if we do not receive payment in a timely manner. No orders will be released until full payment has been made. We prefer payment by check, or a checking deposit through our online QuickBooks invoicing. Credit cards are accepted but not preferred.

Orders cannot be canceled once production has begun. If an order is cancelled after approval, but before items have been printed, we assess a non-refundable 20% fee on the order plus vendor re-stocking and shipping fees. Goods such as patches and stickers cannot be returned or refunded.

For returned checks or other processing errors, we charge the bank's fee of $10+. Delinquent accounts past 30 days overdue will be issued reminders; at 45 days a 5% fee will be charged. It is not the responsibility or requirement of Printmade Apparel to offer repeated reminders and warnings before issuing an overdue fee. Any orders left unpaid over 90 days will be treated as abandoned; deposits will be forfeited and any merchandise will be recycled or donated.

TURNAROUND TIMES:

Turnaround times reflect an average completion time of normal orders. However, these times are not guaranteed. Our typical turn around times vary by decoration method and order details. Screen printing jobs are typically complete in 7-10 business days. Embroidery, Patches, and custom finishes like hem tags are subject to longer turn times, specified at the time of order. For guaranteed production dates ask your account manager about our rush order services. Turnaround times are quoted in working business days. Weekends, Holidays and transit times are not included. Please plan for time sensitive orders well in advance.

SHIPPING:

Prices do not include shipping (unless otherwise specified). Any changes may result in extended turnaround times. Printmade Apparel is not responsible for any loss, damage or shipping delays caused by a delivery carrier but we will work to meet quick re-order/replace needs to the best of our abilities.

APPAREL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Production Proofs - In order to create the most accurate and high quality merchandise, Printmade Apparel submits a production proof sheet on every order (even re-orders). This must be carefully reviewed before being approved. Our proofs are as close to exact as possible but they are not physical samples and cannot be guaranteed for perfect accuracy.

Proof Visuals, sizing - We proof all adult unisex/men's based on a size Large being worn. We proof size Medium being worn for women's and youth sizes. Being worn is important because our proof attempt to factor in the depth (chest to back) of the human body and the print sizing relative to this. Our proofs may look very inaccurate on a flattened shirt - but shirts are made to be worn and this is our priority.

Proof Visuals, color - Print colors are not guaranteed unless a PMS U (Pantone Uncoated) color is submitted. Pantone colors are a $10 ink fee per color. Runs with multiple shirt colors or styles cannot be guaranteed to match perfectly due to the challenges of transparent waterbased inks and basic color theory - for example, the exact same light blue ink will appear differently to the eye on a black, white, coral, and yellow shirts. We take special care to predict the appearance of these colors in your proofs but even with our experience we cannot do it with 100% accuracy.

Print locations - If print location measurements and print size measurements are not requested, our design team will make aesthetic decisions based on our standard placements and sizes. These will be noted in your Production Proofs. We guarantee vertical (neck down) placement to within .5" and horizontal (from neck center to sides) to .75". Due to sizing and style discrepancies, asymmetrical print locations cannot be guaranteed unless we receive a specific instructions for each size and style in the run. Advanced set-up fees will apply.

Thread Colors & Patches - Hat and patch projects follow the same proof guidelines as all other apparel projects. Thread colors will be matched to submitted Pantones, or as close to the digital RGB colors as possible. However, thread colors are more limited than ink and an exact color may not be available. If this is an issue, please request a physical sample (embroidered items) or a photo sample (patches and etc) before we move to production. Samples are $29+ depending upon the item sampled.

Proof Approvals - Production Proofs are submitted two days or less from the time of invoicing. We ask that our customers carefully look through them and then either approve or request changes or more information. Proofs approved with errors are not the responsibility of Printmade Apparel. If an error happens to be found by Printmade Apparel after an approval is made, we will attempt to stop production and double check with our client. If the client discovers an error after making approval, they should let their account rep know immediately so we can work to pause production. We can make no guarantee this is possible and it may result in a $25 per screen production halt fee, depending on labor done to set up your approved order.

Discharge Inks - Discharge inks work through a dye neutralization process, or "bleaching". They only work on 100% cotton garments and they are not compatible with every dye color (royal blue, royal purple, and other pigments will not yield good results). Blended fabrics offer mixed results, most often resulting in a heathered, antique look. Printmade Apparel cannot guarantee exact results on every discharge ink but we do expect a fairly accurate and repeatable result. Special consultation is necessary when discharge inks are requested and sampling may be necessary on items that we are not familiar with.

Seams and other challenges - Not all prints can be achieved through conventional screen printing. We will do our absolute best to match your requests but your shirts will not always look EXACTLY as they do on your computer screen in real life. With printing over seams, collars, and zippers comes issues of ink-buildup and ink not always filling in gaps right next to the seams. When printing onto the sleeve, collar, and shoulder area the print will not always be able to go as far onto the sleeve or onto the collar as you’re wanting, but we will always print the image as offset as we can. We will let you know if something is impossible, but feel free to throw any projects our way.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

* Claims for damages, defects or shortages must be submitted in writing within 10 working days after the delivery of the product.

* In the event of an order misprint, ALL of the original order must be returned.

* Printmade Apparel liability shall be limited to the stated sales price of any defective goods. We will not be liable for any consequential damages such as profit loss etc.

* Prices, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Please read all information on our website before submitting your order.

* Because Screen printing is custom made merchandise, cancellation of an order will result in charges for any set up or pre press costs incurred before cancellation and all restocking fees incurred by our distributors.

* Orders cannot be canceled once production has begun. All orders are subjected to restocking fees if cancellations are made before any production or art prep has happened.
