HIRING: Junior Graphic Designer
Printmade Apparel in Twisp, Washington seeks to add a junior graphic designer to our team. We are seeking a smart, creative, focused and positive individual to fill a new role on our design team. This position is best suited for someone just starting out in the field of design and looking to be challenged, mentored, and stretched. This is an immediate opening with no set closing date - we will fill the position as soon as we find the right person. So please don’t delay if you wish to be considered.

One important thing to mention is that you don’t have to live in the Methow Valley to be strongly considered for this position. Residence in the Okanogan Valley would be ideal as long as you are able to commute to Twisp certain days of the week in the long term and daily for the short term.
This position is full time. There is a 60-day training period.
A solid skill set in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
A background in art, design, fashion, photography, web design, or screenprinting.
A passion for making.
Organized and creative.
Friendly, team oriented, and customer focused.
Other beneficial skills
Proficient in photography and/or video
Experience in web design, layout, and/or maintenance
Illustration or fine arts experience
Customer service experience
Pre-press design tasks; including: customer apparel mock ups, screen separations, photography and image editing.
Web design tasks; including: web content editing, page building, social media marketing and advertising
Identity/logo/branding; including: logo creation, lettering, illustration, and creative assets with a specific focus on identity design and implementation on apparel.
Customer service tasks; including: clear communications and meetings with clients of all types, email, phones, and organized relay of information to other team members.
Cross-training in production activities like screen printing, embroidery, sewing, and other areas.
Assist in daily functions of the print shop; ready for whatever the day or season may require.
